The Pride in Diversity (PID) Awards celebrate the individuals, organisations and communities making Yorkshire a more inclusive place.

Across Neurodiversity, Disability, LGBTQ+, Race, Generation and Culture, we shine a light on the people creating meaningful change, amplify voices that deserve to be heard and recognise the extraordinary impact happening throughout our region.

But PID is about more than one awards night. By bringing businesses, charities, community organisations, public figures and individuals together, we create connections, collaborations and opportunities that continue long after the ceremony ends. The award is just the beginning.

Join us on Thursday 8 July 2027 at the First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds, as the Pride in Diversity Awards return for their biggest celebration yet.

From 140 guests in 2025 to 267 in 2026, PID has grown into an important celebration of Yorkshire’s diversity champions. In 2027, we are aiming to welcome more than 300 guests and take the event into the arena’s largest event space — creating an even bigger platform for the people and organisations making a difference.

With special guests, performers, entertainment and plenty of opportunities to connect, this is more than a traditional awards ceremony. It is a vibrant, inclusive experience that brings Yorkshire’s communities together and celebrates the people helping everyone feel seen, supported and able to thrive.

We’re proud to support The Henry Grierson ADHD & Mental Health Foundation, our 2026 Charity of the Year winner, whose mission is helping young people feel understood, supported and valued.

Founded in memory of 17-year-old Henry Grierson, who tragically died by suicide in 2024, the Foundation raises awareness of the link between ADHD and suicide, challenges stigma and helps young people access support.

Through education, ADHD coaching, peer mentoring and advocacy, the Foundation works with young people, families and schools to improve understanding of neurodiversity, encourage earlier intervention and help prevent future tragedies.

Their mission is to ensure no young person feels overlooked, misunderstood or without hope.
